About Me

Welcome,

As a fifty-year resident of Berkeley / Oakland, you know what a special place we live in. Friends and family come from all over the world and always remark how lush and beautiful our neck of the woods are. We are blessed with being stewards of some of the finest homes and locations in the country. May we continue to pass on to future generations the legacies we have created.

When I'm not selling property you can find me painting abstracts with acrylics and watercolors. I also play guitar and was with one of the first rock and roll bands (Polar Bear) to practice and play at The Ashkenaz. Work continues on our 1912 Arts and Crafts Brown Shingle above the Claremont Hotel. The house has truly a one-of-a-kind location according to Path Wanderers and the Hillside Club. We live on a trail, not a street so it's good for keeping in shape, not so good for bad knees.

We love being docents at the BAHA (Berkeley Architectural Historical Association) open house tours. The variety and quality of houses and locations is so enjoyable and illuminating.

Living in Northern California has given me the opportunity to get involved in the preservation and restoration of our Ancient Redwood Forests. "Emissaries from the past" must be protected and regenerated as part of our natural heritage and well being of the planet.

As a general contractor of 40 years and a real estate agent of 20 years, my passion is houses, architecture, and design.

One of my greatest joys is helping my sellers create value before the sale of their property. This process excites "the little gray cells" and helps keep me focused in creative ways. I love what I do and my sellers are very happy and satisfied clients who become friends. Contact me any time for a no-obligation conversation or to ask any questions you might have.

Kind regards,

Scotty

Listening To My Clients

Listening to you is key to being able to identify and clarify your needs, goals and expectations. By guiding clients toward their desired results in their time frame we can reduce stress and create better outcomes.

Selling and buying property takes place around the large transitions in peoples lives such as marriage, children, family, education, employment, divorce, retirement and death.

Keeping those transitions in mind I am sensitive to the stress and feelings that can come up during the process of selling and buying.

By offering personalized services, staying in close contact during the transaction, and communicating as events unfold we are able to resolve issues as they arise.

As a Licensed General Contractor with over 40 years experience I offer detailed insight and solutions to increase the value of your property before sale.

Living in Berkeley and Oakland for 50 years I am grateful for family, friends and the incredible beauty of the Bay Area.

Thank You! to all my clients for their continued referrals and support over the years.

Please contact me for a no obligation consultation regarding your property or to ask any questions you may have.
